- release should be anywhere from now to December
- updated design and engine; the design will be simpler-looking, so it will look better some people, and not so much to others, but that's fairly typical
- you will have to re-register, but after you make your new account you will be able to enter your Version 1.2 username and password so your 1.2 progress is displayed
- note: your 1.2 progress is DISPLAYED, not usable; your 1.2 pokemon and stuff will be on display but they can not be used
- the first 150 or so people to register (number subject to change) will receive a special pokemon
- the proper name is Pokémon Moon: Abyss of Shadows and it is somewhat of a prelude to Version 2.0.
some things about the game:
- pokemon variations will be: normal, shiny, shadow. one extra variation may be added.
- most pokemon that are available will be available to all users without getting them from other users... however, many pokemon will be hard to obtain, and certain colored pokemon (namely, shiny) will be rarer than normal pokemon
- Shadow pokemon will be stronger than normal pokemon without the restrictions of Pokémon Colosseum and Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness, but unusable in some parts of the game
- there are no legendary areas
- most things on the website won't consist of continued, mindless clicking like it does right now
- there are still promos, every Saturday. most promos will be obtainable in-game already but some may be harder to find regularly. promos might have a special move, a special item, etc.
- moon points probably won't be in the game, but either way you will be compensated for them if you got moon points
- a map system. there aren't many visuals (and thus, it's not one of the maps where you move around and encounter wild pokemon), but you still do encounter wild pokemon, advance in the story, beat gyms, etc.
- SOME pokemon from version 1.5 (only a few that are selected by me) may be transferred to version 2.0
- version 1.5 will be most likely be permanent... when version 2.0 is released, it will remain online and continue to receive updates occasionally (provided it has people who actually play it).
